Let’s work together
Watch a short animation to see how I do what I do; bringing business stories to life for clients across the UK and beyond.
Visual facilitation
Also called ‘graphic facilitation’, the act of working as a team to create a picture of a situation or challenge can add huge value. Visualising a story in a workshop discourages diversions and helps teams to focus down on the real issues, whilst also energising the meeting and inspiring creativity.
It’s fascinating to see just how often facilitation can expose an unforeseen challenge or form the basis of an entirely new way of thinking about a project.
It can also be revisited as the situation evolves, to become not just a one-off facilitation event, but an on-going conversation piece – a true ‘living document’.
Rich pictures
A ‘rich picture’ is brilliantly differentiating and immediately engaging. They set your presentation apart from others – people love to explore them and dive into the detail.
They’re a great way to tell an end-to-end story or highlight ‘bigger picture’ thinking by mapping a linear process or for explaining how factors interplay in a more diverse ‘ecosystem’ of issues.
They move us away from the linear style of presenting, where one slide always seems to look just like the last, and help people to understand and remember information. They also encourage better presenting – there’s less of a tendency to simply read what’s written on screen.
Explainer animations
A rich picture may be a great way of presenting a story to an audience, but in large organisations it’s not often practical to get vast numbers of people together in one place. That’s where animation can help.
An explainer animation is a great way to unfold a rich picture story with the voiceover as presenter. It gives your people the ability to watch at their leisure or catch up with an event they missed.
Easy to release over your company intranet or on social media channels, it’s a fantastic way of ensuring you reach a wide audience and get maximum value from a rich picture project.
